Then why are residents being fined THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS for installing it?

Because Commissioner Christopher McVoy doesn’t like it!

• McVoy voted against the Gulfstream Hotel several times, stalling the project for years and costing the owners millions

• McVoy voted against renewing Benny’s on the Beach’s lease, a dining institution on our ocean with awards from around the country

• McVoy sued the City over the beach project, never required the project to be built on pilings for safety and kept the pool closed for good

• McVoy is trying to stop the development of a world class museum in the down- town with his anti WMODA sentiments and votes

• McVoy showed up at a residents home uninvited to yell and berate her for not agreeing with his views at City Commission meetings.

• McVoy voted to raise your electric rates numerous times and believes that fam- ilies with kids using more electricity should be paying a higher rate than those using under 1000kwh

WHAT ELSE HAS MCVOY DONE TO HURT OUR COMMUNITY…

Commissioner Christopher McVoy Has been sitting on the Dais for over 10 years. He only represents the voices of a small few who agree with him, his antics are tired and he’s completely out of control.
